Shaft of Radius Fracture | ORIF c DCP
A 56Y M fell from a ladder and broke his forearm. He was non-diabetic, normotensive. After adequate evaluation he was scheduled for surgery.
Open Reduction and Internal Fixation with Dynamic Compression Plate (narrow DCP) was done under Brachial Block
His postoperative period was uneventful. Wound was good with intact distal neurovascular status. There was progressive sign of fracture union in consequent x-rays.
Now he can move his left upper limb as usual, lift heavy objects.
