Femur Fracture Revision Surgery [CN-220221]

A 26 years old male had Non-union of Femur with Implant Failure. He was operated with Intramedullary Interlocking Nail (ILIM) under SAB.

He had fractured his thigh bone on RTA. That was open fracture. Initially External Fixator was applied. Wound healing was delayed due to patient’s negligence and some maltreatment. Skin grafting was done to close the wound. Then Proximal Femoral Locking Plate was applied with autogenous cancellous bone grafting 1 month apart.

After Internal Fixation patient fall again and fractured his uniting bone with implant failure

Diagnosis: Fracture of uniting Femur with implant failure

Name of Operation: ORIF with Intramedullary nail

Anaesthesia: SAB
